Matt Donohue

Centenary College '94

In his 16 years as a head coach, Matt Donohue has guided multiple regionally and nationally ranked programs to postseason play. A three-time Coach of the Year award recipient, Donohue has mentored multiple All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American athletes, as well as Conference Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year recipients. Donohue has mentored at least one 1st Team All-Landmark Conference award winner in seven of his either seasons at the helm, while placing multiple players on the 1st Team Award list on multiple occasions. In 2014, Donohue guided CUA to the program’s first ever ECAC Tournament Championship. A year later, Donohue led the Lady Cardinals to the Landmark Conference tournament title for the third time in four seasons.

The 2013 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association – Russell Victory Club award recipient, Donohue is the all-time winningest coach in Catholic University Women’s basketball history with over 200 wins in his career.
